This hat is just perfect for the summer!
Made in the 1950's from off-white straw with a black "x" design woven into it, it features a close fitting crown and a wire brimmed frame which has wonderful shaping.
The brim on the underside and the frame that touches your head are covered in grosgrain and the hat has an elastic to help keep it in place. It can be worn flat on your head or works equally well tilted to one side.

Condition
Very good condition with only minor points to note;
- there is slight discolouration on the inner back where the hat touches the head
- there are approximately 5 small marks on the crown, only seen on close inspection
