This piece has been entirely hand knitted from an original 1930's knitting pattern.
It features a close fitting rib design and fastens with chocolate brown 1940's buttons. It has a brown belt with a bow shaped trim and there is a knitted cravat at the neck. The chocolate trim has been hand embroidered with little green spots. The belt isn't attached to the knit and fastens with poppers at the waist. It looks great with or without the belt.
Short in the body, as was typical of the era, it would look great with high waist trousers or a smart skirt.
Worked in Slate Green and Coffee Bean Brown it is a fine wool mix made up of 75% wool and 25% acrylic.
It is an authentic reproduction of an original 1930's knit.
