This piece has been entirely hand knitted from an original 1940's Bestway knitting pattern.
A charming close fitting rib design it has a pretty cable yoke with a trio of broad cables in the centre and narrower bands of cable across the front of the shoulders. The sleeves are also rib and have the same cable down the middle. The knit fastens at the back neck with a single original 1940's glass button.
Worked in Cascade 220 4 ply, which is a beautiful pure wool, in a shade called Christmas Red, this piece is an authentic reproduction of an original 1940's knit.
