This piece has been entirely hand knitted from an original 1940's knitting pattern.
A classic jumper of the era it has a deep welt and smooth fitting body which starts off in navy and then is worked in narrow stripes of white and navy before the yoke is worked entirely in white. The sleeves are very full, as was common during the early 1940's. It fastens on the shoulder with two faceted plastic buttons.
The base shade is Midnight Blue and the accent is worked in White and the wool is Cascade 220 fingering which is a fine 4 ply pure wool.
It is an authentic reproduction of an original 1940's knit.
