This piece has been entirely hand knitted, by me, from an original 1940's knitting pattern.
A wonderful feather and fan stitch creating the pretty wave design, it has a base of black with stripes worked in purple, teal and neon green. No opening at the neck but the neck is very stretchy so will fit over all head sizes.
Knitted in Cascade 220 fingering 4 ply, which is a wonderfully fine pure wool.
Measurements
It will best fit up to a 40" bust but to ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own.
Flat bust 18.5" stretching to 20.5"
Flat waist 14" stretching to 16"

Please note this piece was worn a handful of times at 1940's re-enactments and as such has slight felting under the arms - see photos.
