This piece has been entirely hand knitted from an original 1940's knitting pattern.
A wonderful feather and fan stitch creating the pretty wave design, it has a base of grey with stripes worked in white, blue, pale pink and rose bud pink and fastens on the left shoulder with four faceted plastic buttons.
Knitted in Cascade 220 fingering 4 ply, it is an authentic reproduction of an original 1940's knit.
The colours are truest in the close up photo of the design.
