This piece has been entirely hand knitted from an original 1940's knitting pattern.
A classic jumper of the era it has a deep welt and smooth fitting body which starts off in green and then is worked in narrow stripes of pistachio and green before the yoke is worked entirely in pistachio. The sleeves are very full, as was common during the early 1940's. It fastens on the shoulder with two 1940's glass buttons.
It has been knitted in a beautifully fine thread which is 65% wool and 35% alpaca with colour shades called Green and Pistachio.
It is an authentic reproduction of an original 1940's jumper.
