This piece has been entirely hand knitted from an original 1940's knitting pattern.
A classic jumper of the era it has a deep welt, a pretty openwork design, neat puff sleeves and stripes in blue and burgundy. It fastens on each side of the collar with little buttons and there are three black poppers on the left shoulder. Due to the openwork of the design you will need to wear a slip underneath.
The base shade is China Blue and the accent is worked in Burgundy and the wool is Cascade Heritage which is a fine 4 ply made up of 75% wool and 25% nylon.
It is an authentic reproduction of an original 1940's knit.
