This pretty little day dress was made in the 1940's.
Made from a fine weave, floppy cotton it has a painterly floral print in red, green, pink, white and purple.
It has a smooth fitting bodice which fastens with poppers, the double breasted button placement is purely decorative. It has a smooth fitting skirt and fastens on the left with a nylon zip, which is a modern replacement.

- has had a 3" repair on the right bodice - its been done to look like a dart, see photo, but is mostly lost within the bust print
