This stylish jacket was made in the 1940's or 1950's and is labelled 'CONNEI MODEL'.

Made from smooth weave grey wool it fastens with a single button at the cinched waist. It is fully lined and features an oversized collar and pockets with large pocket tabs.

 

Measurements

The jacket will best fit up to 36" bust, depending on the thickness of the garments you intend to wear beneath it. To ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own and note all measurements have been taken on the outside of the piece.

Flat bust 18" in the back and 19" in the front

Flat waist 16"

Shoulders between sleeves 15.5"

Underarm sleeve length 17.5"

Length from back neck to hem 23.5"

 

Condition

Good with the following points to note;

  • there is a reddish mark on the back of the right sleeve
  • a small 7mm darn on the lower left sleeve and a similar one on the right sleeve
  • lining is discoloured and there is a small hole on the right sleeve seam at the top
  • it appears to have been let out slightly as there are faint stitch marks where a dart has been undone - only seen on close inspection
  • a small hole in the lining on the left front near the hem - see photo
  • it has been stored for many years and has slight storage odour, but this will air out
