This absolutely stunning coat was made in the 1950's by Crayson.
As is so often the case with black garments, it has been hard to show the intricate detailing in the skirt section but please look at the close up photographs carefully to see how fabulous it is.
Made from medium weight inky black wool, it is fully lined. It is a close fitting design with rounded shoulders, slim fitting sleeves, fastens with 6 buttons and has pockets. The entire bottom section of the skirt is covered in the most intricate soutache work featuring leaves and swirls.
A timeless classic which is so elegant.
