Made in the 1940's, this smartly tailored jacket is made from lightweight wool in a rich shade of purple. Single breasted and fastening right up to the neck, it is a stylish piece featuring metal buttons and faux pocket flaps.
Measurements
The jacket will best fit a 36" bust, depending on what you intend to wear under it. Please note all measurements have been taken on the outside of the piece.

Condition
Structurally it is in good condition. No damage to the fabric but please note;
- the lining is heavily discoloured - see photos
- there is light iron shine
- small mark on the back collar and three small marks on the back right shoulder
- as so often happens with purple pieces from the 1940's there are areas of pink discolouration - see photos. Some of the photographs have been lightened to show the extent of the discolouration but its still a great piece for a re-enactor or true vintage enthusiast who can overlook the imperfecftions
