This is such a charming little hat!
Made in the late 1920's or early 1930's it has a chocolate brown crochet base, which has a wonderful lustre, and an elasticated band. The piece is covered with leaf shaped sequins in autumnal shades.
When the sequins catch the light they shimmer and shine and it would work perfectly for day or evening wear.
Measurements
Will fit up to a 22" and measures 9.5" across.
Condition
Fair to good with the following points to note;
- there is some wear to some of the sequins but because they are different colours anyway it isn't too noticeable
- there are three small repairs on the inner, but these aren't seen when worn
- a few of the sequins have tips missing, again only seen on close inspection
Even though not perfect it is still a great little piece.
