This beautiful jacket was made in the 1930's and is labelled Henry Page of Aylsham Ltd.

Made from pure wool in a soft brown check it is exceptionally good quality. Double breasted walking jacket it has wide lapels and pretty buttons and is fully lined, the underarms are even quilted.

A truly fabulous piece which is much better in real life than the photos show.

 

Measurements

The jacket is meant to be loose fitting in the front and will best fit a 36"/38" bust but to ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own:

Flat bust 18.5" in the back and 20" in the front

Flat waist 18.5"

Shoulders between sleeves 15"

Underarm sleeve length 17.5"

Length 26.5"

 

 

Condition

The jacket is beautiful quality and in very good condition with only a few minor points to note;

  • there is a 1" mark on the back left of the jacket, see photo
  • a small darn on the left side seam near the waist
