This glorious jacket was made in the 1930's.
Made from inky black pure silk it is an edge to edge design with no fastenings. It features long sleeves, with pleated sleeve heads and the hem is lower in the front than the back. It is decorated with machine worked silk embroidery depicting flowers in shades of green and pink.
Perfect for an evening out.
Measurements
The jacket isn't meant to be close fitting and as it is meant to be worn over something else the measurements below make it look like it will fit bigger than it will. Best suited to a 34"/35" bust maximum.

Condition
Good with the following points to note;
- there is some very faint marking on the front left of the piece at the hem - the marking is more visible on the reverse of the piece - but it is really faint
- the piece is entirely French seamed but the inner sleeve seams have been mended and it is a little messy, although this isn't seen when worn at all
