This classic day dress was made in the 1930's.
Made from inky black crepe it features a pleated bodice, long sleeves, fastens down the front with eleven covered buttons and comes with the original belt, which fastens with poppers. Finished off perfectly with a little ruffle trim at the neck.
A perfect wardrobe staple for a vintage lover.

The dress will best fit up to a 44-40-46 but to ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own and please note the shoulders are exceptionally small on this when compared to the bust size.

Condition
Good with the following points to note;
- it has been altered at some point and there are lines of old stitch markings on the bodice
- because of the alterations some of the inner seams are bulkier than they would normally be
- there is a self mark running horizontally along the seat of the skirt but it is only seen in some lights
- when held up to the light there are four pinhead holes and a 4mm thinning in the skirt
