This pretty piece was made in the 1940's by Beechtree.
Made from medium weight cotton it has a white base with a pretty berry and leaf print in purple, blue and green.
It was originally designed to be worn over your clothes to protect them from getting dirty while you were doing chores but it is much too pretty to be confined to the home and works perfectly as a day dress.
A button through design it fastens with bright green buttons and has a patch pocket.
