This pretty nightdress was made in the 1940's.
Made from off white silk crepe, which is semi sheer and wonderfully soft to the touch, it features a cross-over back, finely gathered bodice, has wide waist ties to cinch in the waist and is trimmed with lace.
With a charming floral print it is a beautiful piece.
Measurements
The nightdress will best fit a 36-27-38 and there is no stretch in the fabric at the waist. To ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;

Condition
It is wearable but is not in perfect condition so please note the following;
- there is a large darn on the shoulder
- a repair on the bottom of the waist insert
- a long thin repair in the waist insert on the right side
- light foxing in the skirt
- repair to the split in the skirt
Although it isn't perfect it still has lots of life left in it and is so pretty.
