This fabulous dress was made in the 1950's and is labelled SABA Jrs California.
Made from black waffle cotton it has a charming design of pink roses embroidered onto the fabric.
A close fitting, fully lined, bodice it has an open back design which fastens low in the back with two large buttons and hooks and eyes. The skirt is pleated, unlined, and has a central back zip.
It has been hard to capture the beauty of this piece and it is so much better in person than it appears in the photos.
Measurements
The dress will fit a 34" bust and up to a 26" waist, but no bigger. To ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own and please note this is a petite fitting piece for the shorter lady.
