This pretty knit set was made in the 1950's and is labelled KIMBERLY.
Made from pure wool in a warm brown, the set comprises of a ribbed skirt, which is a little flared at the hem. The cardigan has a deep v-neck, fastens with 5 covered buttons, has three-quarter length sleeves with neat turn back cuffs and has intricate openwork detail on the yoke.
A classic piece from the era.

Condition
Good with the following points to note;
- the skirt has size small darns when held up to the light, but due to the texture they are not seen unless looking for them
- the cardigan has 7 small darns, the most visible of which is on the right sleeve, see photo
