This smart two piece skirt suit was made in the 1950's and is labelled 'DAVIDOW Marshall Field & Company The Suit Shop'.
Made from medium weight wool in light grey with a darker grey stripe, it features an oversized jacket which fastens with covered buttons and has tab detail down the front placket. The skirt is smooth fitting, fastens with hooks and a nylon zipper and has a single back pleat. Both skirt and jacket are lined.
A beautifully made suit.
Measurements
The suit will fit up to a 44-32-42 but to ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own. Note all measurements have been taken on the outside of the piece and although the jacket flat measurements are bigger than I've suggested the suit will fit, that's because the jacket is meant to be slightly oversized.
