A sweet little bed jacket made in the 1930s. Handmade in the softest pink satin it is an edge to edge design with a simple tie at the front. It has been decorated with light brown machine made lace flowers.
Condition
Fair/good with some minor points to note;
- there are 3 darns on the back and one on the sleeve
- when held up to the light there are some areas of thinning
- both the underarm seams have hand sewn repairs
It has been well loved and someone clearly cared for it and looked after it well but it has had a past life and isn't in the best shape. Having said that, it is perfect for the true vintage lover.
Measurements
The piece is meant to be worn quite loose and is a little big for the dummy so probably well suited to a 38"/40". Actual measurements;
