Original 1930's bias cut silk jacquard nightdress in soft peach.
An absolutely wonderful piece, in the softest pure silk, it has been cut and constructed beautifully so it clings in all the right places!
With a deep v-neck it is trimmed with lace around the armholes and neckline.
The colour isn't showing properly and the piece is more peach than it appears in any of the photographs.
Measurements
Because the piece is bias cut it has a lot of give and will fit a variety of sizes. The maximum it will work on is a 36-28-38 but works well on smaller, too. The length is 57.5" when on a hanger but when on, the length will decrease as the dress stretches.
Condition
Good with the following points to note;
- there are three small repairs to the lace, only seen when looking for them
- not a fault but note there is a laundry tape in the back of the piece
- a small darn just below the left bust
- light foxing on the bottom areas of the skirt - these really are light and because of the sheen on the jacquard flowers the issues are only seen when you are looking for them
