This vibrant piece was made in the 1950's and is labelled Pecola, London.
Made from crisp cotton it has an apricot and white stripe base with bold blue floral accent stripes. It fastens down the front with blue plastic buttons, has three-quarter length sleeves, large patch pockets on both sides and is finished off perfectly with a neat tie at the neck.
Perfect to be worn as designed but it has a lot of fabric in it and with some imagination you could harvest the fabric and make a blouse, cutting out the damaged pieces.
Measurements
It is meant to be loose and as it is meant to be worn over something you need to consider that when looking at the measurements. To make sure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own. Note all measurements have been taken on the back of the piece which is smaller than the front because the front is slightly gathered.
