A beautiful swimsuit from the 1940's or 1950's.
Labelled Martin White it is made from pure cotton. The style on this one is stunning. From the front it looks like a normal swimsuit but from the back, its more like a two piece. Shirring all over the main body and a bright floral design really make this piece stand out.
Measurements
Best suited to a UK size 8. The mannequin it is shown on measures 33-24-35. Because it is elasticated, there is a little room for movement. Could fit;
Bust 33"-35"
Waist 24"-26"
Condition
Very good with minor points to note;
- from the outside there are no points to note and the suit has been washed and is ready to wear, however when the suit is turned inside out the elastic on a number of the pieces of shirring has snapped. The suit still has plenty of elasticity left and it clings in the right places, but you do need to be aware of it
- the cord at the back is new as the original was missing when I purchased the suit.
