This charming blouse has been made, by me, from an original 1940's pattern using original 1940's floppy cotton.

The beautiful border print was often used for smocks and aprons and this fabulously floppy cotton lends itself perfectly to a blouse.

A white base with bold floral stripes in green, blue, pink, black and yellow it is finished off with original 1930's buttons.

The blouse has puffed sleeves, a neat little spear point collar, dropped yoke and gathered bodice.

The pattern used for the blouse is for a 34" bust and the blouse is meant to be blouson. To ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;
