This charming little blouse was made in the late 1940's or early 1950's.
Made from powder blue chiffon it has a neat little collar, cap sleeves, an elasticated waist, features vertical bands of lace and fastens with 4 mother of pearl buttons. It is fairly sheer so you'll need to wear a slip underneath.
A great little wardrobe staple for the vintage lover and just perfect for summer.
Measurements
The blouse will fit up to a 33" maximum but to ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;
Flat bust 17"
Flat waist 10" stretching to 12.5"
Shoulders 14"
Length 15 1/2" from neck to waist and 19" from neck to hem
Condition
Very good with the following minor points to note;
- has a couple of very small areas of wear to the shirring on the waist
- a few teeny pinhead holes but because the fabric is so sheer, darning them will make them more obvious
- a few faint small marks that aren't showing up on camera but they are so faint that you have to look really hard to find them
