This beautiful piece was made in the 1940's or 1950's.

Made from bright red felt it has been hand embroidered with intricate ivy leaves worked in blue and white. It has a neat collar and pockets and is finished off neatly with green, gold and white braid trim. It fastens with two little hooks and eyes.

The jacket will best fit a 34"/36" bust. However, to ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own.

Condition

Very good with the following minor points to note;

  • there are a few small pulls and scuffs to the embroidery
  • on close inspection, there are some faint black marks and spots - it looks like they remain from the embroidery transfer and were just not embroidered
