This piece has been entirely hand knitted from an original 1940s wartime knitting pattern.
A wonderful colour-block piece with a zig-zag design and sweet little frills around the yoke and on the deep cuff edges, it would look fabulous with high waisted trousers and would work well with navy or black.
Worked in Cascade 220 Fingering, which is a really fine pure wool, in Magenta with Dark Plum yoke and cuffs the colours are so rich and vibrant. It has 3 original 1940s glass buttons on the back neck to fasten. It is an authentic reproduction of an original 1940s knit.
Measurements
It will best fit up to a 34" bust and is shown on a 33" bust mannequin and is a good fit. However, to ensure it will fit you properly please compare the measurements below to a similar garment you already own;
