Beautiful, classic coat from the 1940s. Made from medium weight wool in a soft beige/camel shade. The back of the coat is made up of panels joined to a curved drop yoke. It has broad shoulder, giving you that perfect 1940s silhouette, and the pocket detail is exceptional with decorative pocket flaps with the opening to the pockets hidden on the side. Large brown buttons finish it off perfectly.
Measurements
Will fit up to a 40" bust but will also work on smaller, as it isn't a close fitting piece. To ensure that it will fit you properly, please compare the following measurements to a similar coat you already own.

Condition
Structurally it is very good condition but there are some points to note, which are reflected in the price.
- there is a 6mm moth hole on the inner left lapel, not seen when the coat is done up
- there is a 3mm mark on the back of the right sleeve
- main issue is general surface dirt to the shoulders, yoke and collar from where it has been hung on a hanger for a long time. The dirt is even and is only really noticed when the collar is lifted and you can see the original pale colour underneath. A dry clean may remove the marks but it is totally wearable as is.
