This is an adorable little brooch.
Made in the 1940s, this popular Make Do and Mend brooch is made of two small metal rings which have white plastic thonging crocheted on them. Fixed to a collar bar, the centres are decorated with vibrant blue "galloping" horses. A really pretty example which would look great on any lapel.
