This is an adorable little box bag.
Made in the 1940s and labelled "British Golden Age Made" it has a beautiful shape and is covered with fabric. A single handle, silver tone frame and clasp with a contrast fabric covered top which is decorated with paste. I've not seen anything like it before and it is the perfect size for an evening out.

Condition
Fair. This is definitely a wounded piece but it is so stylish and beautiful that it deserves to be used for a bit longer. Issues to note;
- there is wear to the fabric on all the edges, most notably on the corners
- some minor tarnish on the metal work
- some tiny marks on the inner
Still presents well but needs to be loved by a re-enactor or true vintage lover who doesn't mind the imperfections.
