This is a beautiful piece in an unusual design.
Made in the 1940's from light brown felt, it is labelled New York Creation a Helen Hale Original. It features a close fitting crown with no front brim and a wide brim heading out to points on either side and the piece is trimmed with dark brown grosgrain ribbon tied into a bow in the back.
This front brimless design isn't a style you often come across. The piece could technically be worn back to front to give a more recognised style of the time, you'd just need to tack the grosgrain backwards so it doesn't hang in your eyes!

Labelled as a 22" head and it is only meant to sit on the back portion of your head, the actual inner measures 20.5"
