This glorious hat was made in the 1930's and is a classic piece of the era.
Made from taupe coloured felt it has a rounded crown, designed to sit low on your head, featuring lines of chocolate brown seaming. It has a semi-circle of felt overlapping the dark brown grosgrain trim, which fastens in the back with a bow, and is finished off perfectly with a triangular early plastic button.

Condition
Good with some points to note;
- there are two small pinhead grazes to the upper surface of the felt - they are not holes - one on the crown and the other on the brim
- slight discolouration on the front of the hat where the curved section crosses the grosgrain band
- main issues is significant discolouration to the inner band and the inner felt - most is covered on the outer by the brown grosgrain trim but a small amount is visible
