This is a fabulous hat in a hard to find shade.
Made in the 1930s, this hat is made from fine straw in a delightful salmon pink shade. It has a close fitting "skull cap" which then has a sweeping brim which has been slightly offset on the crown to give the classic shape of the era. There is a simple folded grosgrain trim on the crown and a darker pink grosgrain trim running along the edge of the brim on the underside to give just an added bit of detail. There is an elastic to help keep it in place.
Measurements
It is labelled 22" and isn't meant to fit fully on your head but to sit on the top and tilted to one side so will fit up to a 22" head.

Condition
Very good, only a couple of minor points to note;
- minor marks on the inner banding but this isn't seen when worn
- there are two 2mm holes on the crown 2" away from each other - most likely from a hat pin
- some small marks on the dusky pink grosgrain band which sits on the underside of the hat
