This neat little dress was made in the late 1940's or early 1950's.
It is made from ivory coloured textured cotton with a charming floral and leaf print in pink, blue, green, yellow and red.
With a button front bodice, featuring a neat little collar, it has slim fitting sleeves with turn back cuffs, patch pockets on the skirt and comes with the original belt.
A great dress for the warmer months.

Condition
The dress is in very good condition and only shows minor wear plus two teeny pinhead spots, which are lost within the busy print. Other points to note;
- there is a small 1/2cm darn on the back left waist, but this is mostly covered by the belt when worn
- the dress has been shortened at some point and the hem that they cut off has been used to make inserts in the side seam to make the dress bigger. The fabric has also been used to extend the length of the belt by a couple of inches. It has been done well and because of the busy print it is only seen on close inspection. The belt extension has been done less well, but this is mostly covered when the belt is in use.
