This beautiful dress was made in the 1940's by Rei-ta and carries the CC41 label in the back neck, and on the original shop tag.
Made from lightweight silk crepe it is wonderfully soft to the touch. A green base with floral sprays in lime green, brown and grey, it is a classic piece of the era with neat collar and cuffs, a pretty pleated skirt, button bodice, pockets and a tie belt.
Perfect dress for the 1940's enthusiast.

Condition
Although the dress comes with the original tag, the tag must have been removed when the dress was worn and then re-attached when it was offered for sale. It is not a dead-stock pieces and is in good with some points to note;
- a pinhead hole in the back, just below the collar, and another on the sleeve head, near the shoulder - due to the fineness of the fabric, darning them is likely to make them more conspicuous than they currently are
- there is a 1" patch in the front of the skirt - because of the fullness or the skirt and floppy fabric, it is only truly seen when you look for it
- there are a few light spots - only seen on close inspection
- light discolouration around the buttonholes
