Made in the 1940's, this inky black lightweight wool coat is a great wardrobe staple.
It has broad shoulders and stiff shoulder pads, giving you the iconic silhouette of the era, is fully lined, has curved patch pockets, two button closure and has smart tailoring.
It's a great everyday piece.

Condition
Good with some points to note;
- there are a number of darns on this piece. Some are visible and some can only be noticed when running your hand over the garment. Places darned - right lapel and fabric on coat directly below this darn, 2 darns on the right front bust, left lapel, back collar edge, 2 on the back
- there are some scuffs to the fabric on the left pocket
- there are some small scuffs to the lining - not seen when worn
- minor storage odour - the coat has been in storage for a number of years and needs a good air - does NOT smell of moth balls
