This classic piece was made in the 1940's.
It appears to be a homemade piece, or an altered piece, because there is some visible stitching where the crown meets the brim so I'm guessing someone updated an older hat at some point.
It features a shallow brown and neat wired brim which is trimmed with grosgrain. Designed to sit tilted on your head it has grosgrain ribbon trim in the front.

Because of the style it is a one size fits all.

Deepest point on the crown 2.5"
Condition
Good with the following points to note;
- there is some light wear to the grosgrain
- inner band on the front has some marks, probably makeup from where the hat touches the forehead
- some hatpin grazes in the back
