This piece was made in the 1940's from medium weight wool in a pretty shade of raspberry pink.

A classic shape of the era with broad shoulders, a swing back, patch pockets and neat lapels. It is fully lined and has button trim detail on the pockets.

A wonderful piece in a gorgeous colour.

 

Measurements

The jacket isn't meant to be close fitting and is meant to have some movement and fullness to the piece so will best fit up to a 40" bust. However, to ensure that this will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;

Flat bust 23" in the back and 26" in the front

Shoulders between sleeves 15.5"

Underarm sleeve length 17"

Length 26.5"

 

Condition

Good with some minor points to note;

- there are some splits on the lining, especially on the underarms and sleeve ends

- mild perfume smell 

- a cluster of small spots on the right collar - see photo
