This beautiful dress was made in America in the 1940's.
Made from crepe it has a blue base and and off-white print of flowers in squares and large polka dots.
A classic dress of the era it has a button front bodice with a smart collar and gathered yoke. With three-quarter length sleeves and a panelled skirt with neat darts, it is a great wardrobe staple.

Condition
Fair/good with the following points to note;
- belt loops but no belt
- someone has made small triangular inserts to the sleeve ends to get more space
- inner collar discoloured
- mark on the outer right collar
- buttonhole at the bottom of the bodice has been sewn closed and now closes with a poper
- minor stress on the front skirt seam
- the hem is even in wear but on the inside it isn't even--but this isn't seen when worn
Has been washed, pressed and is ready to wear.
