This classic wiggle dress was made in the 1950's from a cotton rayon mix in grey. 

It has a close fitting design with three-quarter length sleeves, seaming detail down the side bodice, pockets, a contrast collar in black and a simple tie at the neck. It fastens down the back with a long metal zip.

A great wardrobe staple for a vintage lover.

It is meant to be close fitting but to ensure that it will fit you properly please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;

Flat bust 18"

Flat waist 13" so a tight 26" waist maximum

Flat hip 19"

Shoulders 14.5"

Underarm sleeve length 12.5"

Shoulder to waist 16.5"

Shoulder to hem 45.5"

 

Condition

Good with some points to note;

- there are two small darns - one on the left shoulder and the other on the right front bodice

- there is minor underarm discolouration

- a spot mark on the front skirt at hip level - see photo

- minor faint iron shine in some places
