This charming dress was made in the late 1930's and is a petite length piece.
Made from white floppy cotton it has a beautiful floral print worked in coral, pink, yellow and green. Featuring a button front bodice, which fastens with three soft yellow buttons, it has a long side zip, a neat collar and puff sleeves.
Would look great belted.

Condition
Washed, pressed and ready to wear with the following points to note;
- the zip is a modern replacement
- the dress has been altered at the waist in the past with the dress being made shorter by adding a large tuck - the tuck has been removed and it has left a line of machine stitching holes on the bodice and skirt but I'm confident these will become smaller the more the dress is washed and worn
- some fraying on the inner - not seen when worn
- when I got the dress the bodice was machined closed and it was awkward to get into so I opened the bodice up and added buttonholes and buttons to make it easier to wear - that has left a fine line of stitch marks, like on the waist tuck, on the left bodice
