This piece has been entirely hand knitted from an original 1940s knitting pattern by Bairnswear Femina.
A pretty design of semi-circles in a line with a slightly open work detail going across, it is a close fitting piece which fastens down the back with little flower shaped buttons. It has been worked in a lipstick red wool acrylic mix and is an authentic reproduction of an original piece.
Measurements
This piece is best suited to a 34" bust as it is a slim fitting design and the shoulders are quite narrow. It will stretch to 36" but that would make the lacework more open. To ensure it will fit you please compare the measurements below to a similar garment you already own.
