This wonderful suit was made in America in the 1940's and is labelled 'That Young Leeds Look' on the jacket.
It has been hard to capture the colour accurately but it is best represented in the close up of the label.
The checks are teeny and are worked in muted mustard and cafe-au-lait with a dark brown regular grid breaking up the checks.
Beautifully tailored it has turn-back cuffs, arrowhead pocket detail, wide lapels, smart buttons and a neat skirt. The Jacket is fully lined in soft mustard coloured crepe.
