This suit was made in America in the 1940's and is labelled Strauss-Hirshberg's.
Made from medium weight wool in a wonderful shade of red it is beautifully tailored. The jacket is fully lined and features broad shoulders, with firm shoulder pads to give you the iconic silhouette of the era. It has covered buttons, fastens all the way to the neck and is finished off perfectly with a neat little collar. The skirt is smooth fitting, unlined and is made up of 4 panels. It fastens on the left side with a plastic button and metal zip.
A gorgeous suit in a harder to find larger size.
