This fabulous set was made in the 1940's and is labelled 'Marcus Worcester'.
Made from olive green wool, the set consists of a long line belted jacket and slim fitting skirt.
The jacket features rounded shoulders, fastens at the neck with a single faux fur covered button and has a tie belt. The outer is olive green herringbone wool and the inner has thick wool padding and then a soft brown satin lining meaning the jacket is incredibly cosy. It could be worn as a stand alone jacket over a different outfit as it works well without the skirt.
The skirt is slim fitting and fastens with a button and poppers on the left side. The wool is slightly itchy and the previous owner had a modern lining added to the skirt.
Measurements
The jacket is not meant to be close fitting and is meant to be oversized. The suit will best fit a 38-28-38 but to ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;

Condition
Very good with the following points to note;
- someone has let the front seems out to gain an extra inch width in the skirt - it shows very slightly but the seams could easily be taken back to their original size and then this wouldn't show
- a couple of small grazes to the jacket, each less than 5mm
- the button is a bit less fluffy than the cuffs
