This fabulous suit was made in America in the 1940's and is labelled 'Salta New York'.
Made from burgundy boucle wool, the skirt is plain but the jacket has a fine check in black and off-white.
The jacket is close fitting and buttons right up to the neck. It is unlined and is beautifully tailored with diagonal faux pocket detail on the bust. The skirt is also unlined and fastens on the left with a metal zip.

The suit is meant to be close fitting and will fit up to a 40-32-42. However, to ensure it will fit you properly, please compare the measurements below to a similar piece you already own;

Condition
Very good. Only minor points to note;
- a small mark on the left front jacket
- a small mark on the seat
The marks are small and I haven't attempted to remove them but they may come out with a clean.
