PLEASE NOTE THE FIRST PHOTOGRAPH HAS BEEN LIGHTENED TO SHOW SKIN TEXTURE
A beautiful large brown leather clutch bag which, I believe, is made from ostrich skin.
Made in the 1930s or early 1940s it is a high quality piece which is suede lined. A great size and very practical bag with lots of compartments. There is a compartment on the back of the bag and when you open it there are a further 5 compartments, plus a coin section which is two coloured with one side dark and the other light.
Measurements
The bag is almost 12" long and nearly 9".
Condition
Good/very good. The leather is still lovely and soft with no cracking. Issues to note; - there is some wear to the edges on the bag, especially on the front edge near the opening where it was obvioulsy handled most - the metal work on the bag has oxidised and tarnised and some has transfered onto the suede inner, see photos
