Wonderful cornflower blue felt fedora with black grosgrain trim.
Made in America in the late 1930s it is labelled Mme Elizabeth New York. Designed to sit tilted to one side, the entire brim is seamed with zig zag stitching and the hat is trimmed with a wide black grosgrain band which has a bow trim on the right hand side.

It is designed to sit fully on your head and the inner band measures 21".

Condition
Structurally it is in very good condition but there are some minor points to note;
- the hat is faded. The fade is even and from the top you only know that it is faded when you look under the grosgrain band. The upper is a lot paler than the inner.
- the black trim has been sewn on a little scruffily
- there are 5 faint marks on the very top of the hat, see photo
